Business Intelligence Manager

Mandatory skills :

- Experience in Tableau and SQL

- Experience in Predictive Modelling

- 3 - 8 years of experience working on business intelligence & analytical reporting platforms

- 3+ years experience using Tableau Desktop to develop easy to use interactive & dynamic dashboards/ scorecards

- Strong knowledge of dashboard & visualization development best practices

- Experience gathering, and translating end user requirements into effective & efficient dashboards.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and Agile development lifecycle

- Experience connecting Tableau to various data sources - IBM DB2, Hadoop (Hive Data Sets/Impala), SAS Data Sets, MS Excel, CSV, Text, MS Access, SQL Server, etc. (live connection or extracts)

- Working knowledge of R/ SAS

- Knowledge of relational database and SQL experience creating joins, joins with custom SQL & blending data from different data sources using Tableau Desktop

- Proven knowledge of working with various Tableau Desktop functionalities & capabilities (Filters, Hierarchies, Sorting, Sets, Parameters, Custom Groups, Creating Story, Mapping, Custom Geocoding, etc.)

- Experience using advanced calculations using Tableau Desktop(Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table, LOD Expressions)

- Exposure to Tableau Server Administration (managing sites, projects, workbooks, user groups, data security, subscription schedules, server status & activity, publishing data source & dashboards, web authoring, etc.)

- Exposure in setting up the distribution & publication process using Tableau Server for scheduled production dashboards & reports

- Experience creating different visualizations using Lines, Pies, Pareto, Histograms, Box Plots, Maps, Scatter, Gantts, Bubbles, Histograms, Bullets, Heat Maps, Waterfall, Treemaps, etc.

- Proven ability to turn large amounts of raw data into actionable information; Knowledge of Hadoop, Impala, Hive, SQL Server, DB2 is a plus

- Excellent communication skills with ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and actionable insights; develop mock ups, wireframes, etc.

- Detail oriented and expected to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in dashboard/report development & data analysis

- Sound knowledge of Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake schema) concepts. Good understanding of relational structures, dimensional data modeling
