Manager Compliance- Business Governance & Compliance (BG&C)

This role is accountable for :

- Ensuring Bengaluru Service Centre (BSC) compliance towards its regulatory obligations & internal policy requirements are well managed as per Clients Risk and Compliance framework by

- Maintaining the Regulatory Obligations of BSC in approved systems & tools and keeping it current

- Governing regulatory changes and changes impacting regulatory obligations

- Governing BSC's Compliance to the regulatory Obligations and internal policies

- Testing the effectiveness of controls and uplifting controls insightful Regulatory Risk & compliance reporting to key stakeholder that is clear and concise in a timely manner

- Timely Event management, Risk Management & Change Risk assessment of changes and initiatives

- Providing risk and compliance subject matter expertise (SME) advisory services in the context of day to day business activities and / or on specific initiatives

- Interacting with businesses and supporting them on all 1st line risk and compliance matters;

- Assisting in managing compliance to obligations delegated to compliance team in a timely and efficient manner

- Participating and supporting business unit attestations processes and risk management maturity assessments;

- Assisting in the execution and delivery of team and Client group initiatives

- Assisting in the implementation and improvement of compliance culture in Bengaluru Service Centre

- Responding in a timely manner to stakeholder requests, take ownership and follow-up

- Assisting in the execution and delivery of team and group initiatives

- Implementation and improvement of compliance culture in Bengaluru Service Centre

- Proficient in Indian regulatory requirements applicable to IT & ITES organisations

- In the Indian environment Demonstrated Experience in regulator interactions

- In the Indian environment demonstrated Experience in Company Audit / Company secretary practice / Employer obligations management/ Tax regulations management

- Strong Stakeholder Management

- Project management

- Forum and Committee Secretariat Experience

Qualifications :

- Academic qualifications Chartered Accountant or Relevant tertiary qualifications

- Minimum 7 years in financial services industry with experience in risk, compliance, audit or Company Secretary
