Manager - Business Finance - Tech/Online Business

The Business Finance Manager will develop a clear understanding of key business drivers for each line of business, analyze key financial metrics, and provide decision-making support to Business & Finance teams. Reviewing and streamlining all Business verticals from a Business Finance perspective which includes business-level margin analysis and budget modeling.

Requirements:

- Review and analyze historical business trends, understand demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop financial models, and evaluate business outcomes

- Continuously monitor financial and business KPI's, highlight trends and analyse causes of variance

- Keenly follow the competitive landscape and feed management with relevant intelligence

- Monitor competitor activity and strategies to benchmark performance and identifying improvement areas

- Partner with business teams to improve results

- Handling ad-hoc research requests as per management requests

- Build and manage financial models for forecasting, variance analysis and problem solving

- Facilitate regular business review meetings: present key insights and provide recommendations for decision making

- Suggest predictions for future based on current data trends

Key skills required:

- 1-4 years of experience in financial analysis for a tech/online business.

- Expertise in working with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching

- Ability to see through the data and analyse it to derive conclusions

- Proven track record of delivering projects in a timely manner

- Experience in presenting findings and insights to business leaders

- Experience in Quarterly and Monthly Financial reporting, annual budgeting and forecasting process

- Experience in evaluating expenditure proposals

- Experience in Accounting will be an added advantage.
