Job Title: Finance Business Partner Leader for a fast-growing engineering services business

Strategic Partnership:

- Own the P&L as the Finance leader for the business.

- Act as a financial advisor and partner to the business, offering insights and recommendations to support their objectives.

- Engage in strategic discussions, providing financial context and modeling for various business initiatives.

- Align financial strategies with the organization's overall strategic goals.

- Financial Analysis and Reporting:

- Provide regular financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to practice heads and senior management.

- Evaluate financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and budgetary goals.

- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to make data-driven decisions.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Collaborate with business leaders to develop annual budgets and long-term financial plans.

- Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.

- Assist in forecasting future financial performance and assist in course correction as needed.

- Cost Control and Efficiency:

- Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

- Work with department leaders to implement cost control measures and optimize resource allocation.

Financial Modeling and pricing:

- Lead the pricing for various commercial models across T&M, Fixed price and outcome models

- Drive tight governance on pricing adherence in alignment with margin goals

Risk Management:

- Assess financial risks and make recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.

- Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the industry
