Job Description :

Industry Sectors :

- Consulting engagements are largely across the following sectors - Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Infrastructure & Real Estate, Retail & E-commerce, Financial Services, IT & ITES, Private Equity, Automotive and Healthcare.

Role & Responsibilities :

Project Related :

- Managers would be leading multiple projects at any time on solutions offered

- They shall be having team members report to them at a project level

- Managers have the responsibility of project execution and shall report to a director/partner on every project. They shall be responsible for ensuring project profitability, quality as well as adherence to the agreed project plan

- Managers shall assist the Partner/Director in managing risks associated with the projects

- Managers shall be the primary ongoing project level contact for clients

- The job would require travel to client locations within India and abroad

People Related :

- Plays the role of performance managers for junior staff

- Actively involved in training, coaching and mentoring of junior staff

Business Development :

- Perform business development lead generation till closure

- Proactively does sales oriented reporting during projects. These would include identifying possible business opportunities for various practices within .

Thought Leadership :

- Contribute to solution development

- Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge

- Participate in practice initiatives and at times lead such initiatives such as knowledge management or thought leadership

The Individual :

Industry Experience :

- Telecommunication, Media, Technology and similar service industry allied sectors

General :

- Work experience and academic background / training in Lean, TPM/ TQM/ Innovation / 5S / Kaizen / Six Sigma etc.

- Have been involved in Business Excellence role for 4 to 8 years

- Should be able to demonstrate quality concepts, methodologies, tools, analytics & differentiate organization at the highest level

- Be able to lead new process design (Designing As-is and To-be Process Mapping) and propose alternate business process designs

- Participate and assist in base lining and due-diligence exercises

- Possess strong domain knowledge, understanding of business processes and improvement areas in operations

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Consistent display of leadership skills

- Ability to work well in teams and manage teams size comprising of 5-6 junior resources

- Ability to work under pressure stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours

- Willingness to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time

- Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic and lead by example
