Manager - Business Development - Technology Business Accelerator

Our client is a Technology Business Accelerator established by Government of AP in collaboration with FICCI and University of Texas, Austin. They are committed to churn cohorts of Startup entrepreneurs to take at least 12 of them for an intense acceleration. University of Texas has programmes that have been effective World-wide in bringing about this churn and transformation.

While Startup entrepreneurs (with additional inputs from mentors) know application of products they are creating, who their user industries are, they are NOT likely to know specific customers within those industries NOR likely to have skills to make cold calls, present their inventions and proposition to prospective customers with adequate technical and commercial "punch". Customers of Startups could be licensors or direct users.

- Manager, Business Development is expected to lead startup entrepreneurs enrolled by our Client to their customers by creating evocative collaterals, reaching out multiple potential customers, propositioning a business case and consummating this connect.

- He is expected to supplement efforts of startup entrepreneurs through secondary research, reach out to right decision makers and link them with startup entrepreneurs.

- To help his cause, he is expected to participate in public programs (seminars, exhibitions, workshops etc) or conduct road shows for both show-casing the Technology Business Accelerator as a "go to" destination as also network with participants to facilitate his work of customer connect.

- He would be expected to work with COO, incumbent MD and Manager, Cohort Recruitment for delivering on his KPIs.
