Manager - Business Development - Retail
Our client is a D2C lifestyle & apparel brand based in Mumbai and they are looking to hire a Retail Business Development Manager. The role involves setting up the strategy for and execution of offline retail for the brand. We are looking for ones with a zest for growth and with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and build an omnichannel brand.
Responsibilities:
- Identify ideal locations for opening offline stores and build store expansion strategy
- Hire and train staff for each store, and manage day to day operations with store managers
- Work on continuous improvement in the product merchandising and give customer feedback to relevant head office teams
- Preparing weekly reports of store performance and sales
- Ensure operational excellence of stores and EBITDA profitability
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in offline retail
- Role will require travel to all store locations
- High energy with the capability to work in a dynamic, fast-growing startup
- Must be methodical, detailed oriented and operations focused
- Must have a collaborative working style and must work well in a team environment with the ability to adapt to evolving processes and systems
- Must have values of integrity and an ambition to work for a growing organization
