Business Development Manager -Renewable Energy

1. Support the development of BD strategy and business planning for the renewables portfolio aimed at driving sustainable and profitable growth.

2. End-to-end business development from finding an opportunity to closing Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

a) Manage tendering and bidding process - bid analysis (EOI/RFP), bid preparation, agreement monitoring, cost-benefit analysis, Cash flows, profitability etc.

b) Ensure compliance to our policies and timelines for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers.

c) Track reverse bidding opportunities in solar sector and build partnerships for reverse bidding opportunities.

3. Identify, screen and establish a network of partners to help develop robust opportunity pipeline for the solar business.

4. Monitor activities of developing the Renewable Energy asset under Opex model for C&I customers

5. Collaborate with internal technical & legal teams on PPA closure, Land selection, Project execution and Commissioning within the agreed timeline and providing support on any commercial issues

6. Explore opportunities in acquisition of assets and market place for renewable assets in India which are available for M&A

Skills & Competencies:

1. Engineering background (MBA preferred)

2. 5-7 years of power sector experience, Must have 2-3 years of experience with an IPP (Independent Power Producer) Business Development Team.

3. Has technical knowledge of new technologies such as Battery Storage (preferred), equipment and services of Renewable Energy as well as regulatory framework in the Indian renewable industry.
