Our client is into sales and operations of POS machines in India. We are looking for candidates having International Business Development experience in POS( Point of sales) /Payment solutions/Payment gateway/Epayments.
Candidates need to have experience in above products and International sales ( Both are mandatory for the role)
Location: Mumbai
Travel Required: Yes
Designation: Manager Business Development ( Can be discussed for higher designation)
JOB PURPOSE / MISSION: Responsible to identify new business opportunities - new markets in POS business. new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets, or new product or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets - and then to go out and exploit those opportunities to bring in more revenue. Works to improve an organization's market position and achieve financial growth. Defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Cold call as appropriate within defined market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging company's network.
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Research and build relationships with new clients. Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals.
- Manage Client Retention. Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs. Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.
- Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like pre qualification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
- Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company's people and capabilities so that will continual to enhance the company's performance.
Education Qualifications / Experience Requirements:
Education (Required / Desired)
- B. Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc. (Computer Science / IT/Elect & Telecom)
- M.B.A. (Sales & Marketing / Systems / Telecom)
Experience (Required)
- 10-15 years of Experience in Sales Management/Business Development
