- Background to Assignment Sify is in the process of incubating in-house anOracle Practice, in alignment with the Sify 3.0 Vision of being an integrated services player in the ICT market in India & overseas. The Oracle practice in addition to being part of the Enterprise Applications Business Unit will also align itself to create greater value realization, leveraging the SIFY's core strengths and competencies developed in the area of hosting environments, cloud and managed services over the last decade.

- The incumbent in this role is expected to function in a start-up environment, cognizant of the challenges and opportunities that such an opportunity brings.

- The role expects from the candidate an entrepreneurial mind-set, bringing together various functions like Sales, Business Development, Delivery, and Marketing. The incumbent would also be expected to own the long term business plan and its execution.

Experience : 10 + Years with 5 to 7 Years experience in selling Oracle Technology products and services around Database & Middleware stack.

- Frontline software & services sales / Business Development in a B2B environment in the enterprise and/or SME segment

- Services sales of the Oracle DB & Middleware stack with at-least one year in selling cloud based services.

- CXO level interaction

- Experience of working directly with Oracle India.

Skills :

- Good knowledge and understanding of OracleDatabase & Middleware portfolio.

- Good knowledge of the Oracle partner ecosystem

- Exposure to service delivery models around Oracle technology products.

- Business communication,comprehension & articulation Skills - Superior

- Ability to work across extended virtual teams.

- Self-Starter

Professional pedigree : Should have worked the Oracle Practice of a Tier I / II Oracle Partner or in Oracle directly for at-least 4-5 years around the Oracle DB & Middleware portfolio.

Reporting LOB : Head Oracle

Travel The role may/will require light to medium travel at any location in India.
