Position:Manager - Business Development  Roles and Responsibilities:  - Analyze business potentials  - Knowledge building on geography, Industry specific analysis and market research / business potential and to provide strategic inputs  - Identifying upcoming tenders from Government/ PSUs/ Private Sectors and to analyze the tender documents for prequalification  - Identifying, developing, tracking and pursuing new opportunities/ clients in the pre-identified/ identified sectors  - Build key customer relationships, identifies, negotiates and closes business deals.  - Participate in techno-commercial discussions and negotiations, Tenders/ Pre-Bids  - Technical Presentations & Personal Visits to the client place  - Ensure to make other members follow the compliance regulations and acts  Skills:  - Should have a Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical/Management  - With at least 10 to 15 years in project development with reputed Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical/ EPC Industry with at least 3 years in similar capacity  - Well aware of Indian Oil & Gas market and technical developments  - Should have excellent networking skills/ contacts with clients in Indian Oil & Gas sector  - Should have proven track record of independently getting projects for the clients  - Exposure to global, offshore engineering business especially Middle East/ Kazakhstan, preferable  - Should possess strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills  - Maintaining confidentiality, personal credibility and meeting ethical standards  - Should be well versed with work flow requirements of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality and Safety Departments  - Capable to work in multi-tasking environment and capable of working under pressure to meet demanding deadlines  - Ability to effectively motivate, lead and support a multi-cultural team  Job Location: Chennai, India
