Job Description:

- Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our client base in the freight forwarding industry.

- As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and promoting our services to achieve revenue targets.

- Location: Bangalore ( 6 Days Working Days ; Mon-Sat)


Responsibilities:


- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the freight forwarding sector, including targeting potential clients and markets.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics operations and client satisfaction.

- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure business opportunities.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and expand business opportunities.

Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven experience (5-7 years) in business development or sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

- Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, including customs regulations, documentation, and transportation modes.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
