The main job of the Business Development Manager is to identify new business opportunities and thorough developing of new business accounts in the assigned vertical/sector and geography. The role involves driving the Business Development effort for Contract Logistics, Express, Distribute and Cold Chain Businesses. Ensuring customer delight by offering them a world-class service experience. Winning and retaining customers, unlocking value by providing innovative value chain transformation solutions. 1. Drive the customer acquisition strategy through consultative selling and striking new relationship through nurturing existing customer relationships. 2. Responsible to deliver target revenues with an expected level of gross margin. 3. Analyze customer feedback, draw business intelligence, review benefits of core services being offered and ensure high client satisfaction level. 4. Work meticulously with the Solution Design team to customize client requirements and optimize deliverables. 5. Key Account Management: Taking care of a set of Regional and National Key accounts and ensuring proper engagement and relationship management. Ensure Maximum wallet share and retention. 6. Must understand and negotiate a profitable pricing structure and service-level agreement that will increase the company's - share of wallet- in the warehousing and logistics industry. 7. Identify prospect base of customers 8. Identify value of the business opportunity being perused 9. Building relationships across business organization in target customers 10. Map the organization chart of target company to identify the key person(s) to meet 11. Build a customer development plan 12. Build a Win plan and account plan 13. Manage relationships - serve as primary contact for the customers 14. Maintain discipline in updating CRM &amp; Sales pipeline 15. Solution oriented approach in engaging with customers 16.
