Purpose of the job:

The Business Development Manager will act as a growth engine for promoting the Industrial Networking product range in identified verticals. He/She will have PAN India responsibility and will pursue business opportunities above US$ 100 K+ single value and be responsible for their closure

Organizational Context:

As part of their Strategic growth initiatives, Company is looking to expand their Sales footprint in India. We are looking for people who will endorse, support and model the Company's core values of Absolute Integrity, Empowerment, Customer Focus, Restless Innovation & High Performance.

Coverage:

The position incumbent's location is flexible in any of the major Indian metros, and carries Pan India responsibility.

Internal and External Relationships:

This position is an Individual Contributor, reporting to Director of Sales-South Asia, who is based in Mumbai.

Key Accountabilities:

- Create a robust Sales Plan in sync with corporate objectives and Annual Operating Plans.

- Business Development and new customer acquisition for Industrial Networking in identified verticals like Transportation, Water and Waste Water as primary focus. Secondary focus on Oil and Gas, Defence and Parking / traffic management Solutions.

- Develop relationships with key clients, complete the vendor qualification process, and be responsible for the entire sales cycle from enquiry to order win.

- Strong focus on deal closure.

- Meet Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Sales and Order Booking Targets.

Skills & Prior Experience:

- Engineering graduates with strong background in Industrial Ethernet networking domain.

- Post Qualification Experience of around 15 years.

- Background and understanding of industrial Networking solutions - both Ethernet and cellular and communication converters.

- Excellent Consultative Selling skills with strong applications focus and abilities to map customer requirements to Company Products and solutions.

- Should have high business acumen and an entrepreneurial bent of mind with focus on closure.

- Should have excellent spoken & written English communication skills.

- Proven experience in carrying, pursuing and achieving $1M USD sales targets.

- Ability to understand complex sales cycles, map key decision makers and understand customer drivers

- Ability to leverage internal resources of Company to achieve desired sales objectives-collaborative team player.
