Business Development Manager( Fuel Oil) We are looking for a Business Development Professional for the Fuel Oil industry. Position: BD Manager Location: Mumbai. Responsibilities : 1. Develop a clear understanding of the company's service offerings to clients and potential customers 2. Develop new customers through company lead generation, cold calling, networking, and referrals; follow up appropriately to obtain appointments 3. Establishes and maintains networking relationships with clients 4. Travel to prospective and existing customers to promote and sell company services 5. Identify target accounts and work with management to achieve goals 6. Develop and implement differentiation strategies while identifying new growth opportunities for the company 7. Prepares and submits activity reports and sales forecasts as requested 8. Maintains client and prospective client information in the company's database 9. Research prospective new clients in targeted markets and tenaciously pursue leads and follow through to a successful conclusion 10. Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract clients 11. Maintain excellent relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the industry 12. Possess a strong understanding of industry procedures, and new areas of opportunity, and understand the methodology of company positioning 13. Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors, locations of projects, pricing, etc. 14. Understand and optimize corporate assets and capabilities and effectively communicate those to current and potential customers 15. Provides direction, support, feedback, and guidance to successfully plan and implement business development activities in conjunction with the CCO 16. Help define new project scope, goals, and deliverables on an ongoing basis Requirements : 1. 8 - 12 years of sales experience in the oil and gas industry developing and expanding business relationships. 2. Extensive industry connections with vendors and associates. 3. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 5. Excellent business ethics. 6. Proficient in MS Office & Outlook.
