Manager - Business Development - Corporate

Job details :

Reporting to the General Manager Business Development, this role will be accountable for the acquisition of new clients and deepening of relationships with existing clients across lines of businesses.

This person will be assigned specific revenue and profitability targets. This is an individual contributor role. The job entails frequent domestic travel with up to 30% travel time or higher.

The ideal candidate should be self starter with high levels of energy and motivation. The candidate should be result oriented with a strong sense of ownership. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Identifying, targeting and acquiring new clients

Key relationship management :

- Collaborating with the internal teams and designing solutions for clients.

- Deepening relationships with existing clients and enhancing revenue.

- Market analysis and mapping of potential business partners.

Contractual negotiations

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience:

- 5 - 8 years experience in a corporate sales profile

- Solution selling experience is preferred.

- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

- Ability to deal and negotiate with key stakeholders

- Ability to engage and influence the client across hierarchies.

- Ability to strategize business (product and customers) and communicate the same to top management.

- Experience in insurance is not mandatory

Additional Details :

Person has to sell niche product, Target industry : Insurance, consumer service, IT sales, Bank, OEM, Consumer durable, Large format retail etc.

Basically a hunter who will do structure solutioning and will take it to final stages and complete the target, ability to impact top leadership.
