Qualifications/Skills/ and Background: Graduation/ Post- Graduation/ MBA Degree in Marketing &amp; or relevant discipline is preferred - Mandatory: Relevant years of experience in Contract Logistics/ 3PL Sales/ Supply Chain/Solutions/ Logistics industry - Proven success in business development, national sales and account management - Solid Project management skills &amp; Understanding and experience of the theory and practice of supply chain management, transportation management in particular. - Well versed with Transportation, Warehousing, 3PL, Air &amp; Ocean - Import &amp; Export business ops - Ability to provide clear direction to operations support staff to gather necessary data and implement the right solution - Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team &amp; effectively handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously - Knowledge of warehousing and domestic transportation will be added advantage. - To be prepared to learn all aspects of the team's work with desire and ability to provide cover and assistance on a regular basis. - High degree of organizational &amp; administrative skills and the ability to work on own initiative &amp; with minimum supervision. - Good team player, with the ability to monitor and motivate the staff and ability to work efficiently and accurately. - Excellent communication skills, customer focus with proactive attitude. Strong customer focus with good leadership, analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills Independent, self-motivated and highly disciplined - Strong Networking Skills - both Internal &amp; External Key Account abilities / Roles and Responsibilities : - Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments. - Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. - Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. - Innovate, Advocate and Implement better Sales Strategies. - To implement all aspects of Sales Process encompassing all sales related activities such as planning, monitoring and measuring all customers within the defined area - Generate sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business targets &amp; driving tactical sales measures to fill idle space if any - Analyzes and controls expenditure of the division to conform to budgetary requirements. - To prepare sales reports on a monthly basis. - To prepare the annual sales budget for management approval and implementing the same. - Identify contacts of potential and target customers align with strategy [industry, products, and geographies], open doors and start a relationship on local level. - Value assessment of tenders and opportunities for Contract Logistics. - Ownership of the sales process for local tender projects &amp; work on RFI/RFQ/RFP written responses - Coordinate the response with all relevant business fields and engage the required resources, in order to finalize the value solution. - Federate Team's to work on value creations and professional solution conceptions - Discuss price level with responsible profit &amp; loss (P&amp;L) person &amp; facilitate final approval for submission to the customer. - Customer retention and development - Implement programs to win continued customer's loyalty. - Articulate the customer demand and specific request within the project to ensure the right internal understanding for the solution design. Articulate the proper solution description to avoid misunderstandings or wrong interpretations - Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential - maintaining business ethics. - Provide an excellent and professional level of customer service with existing and new customers
