Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram for Manager - Business Development. The jobholder is expected to lead the overall business development efforts within the company, including identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, building client relations, and managing the business development team. The jobholder will also monitor market trends and use that information to help inform business decisions and achieve the company's strategic growth goals.

Responsibilities:-

1.Business Development Strategy:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve the company's growth objectives.

- Identify and prioritize potential clients and market segments for business expansion.

- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to refine the company's approach.

2.Client Acquisition:

- Generate new leads through market research, networking, and proactive outreach.

- Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their PR needs, and tailoring solutions to meet those needs.

- Lead the sales process, including presentations, proposals, and negotiations.

3.Strategic Communicator with Persuasive Prowess and Market Mapping Excellence:

- A seasoned Business Development professional in Public Relations, renowned for exceptional market mapping skills.

- Skillfully integrates comprehensive market insights into persuasive presentations, offering clients a nuanced understanding of their industry landscape.

- Possesses remarkable PowerPoint skills to visually articulate complex concepts and pitch innovative PR strategies.

- Proactively identifies and presents new strategies, showcasing a forward-thinking approach aligned with market dynamics.

- The ability to ensure that every presentation not only persuades but also reflects a deep understanding of the market, positioning our PR strategies as tailored solutions for sustained success.

4.Team Management :

- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.

- Foster a collaborative and goal-driven culture within the business development department.

5.Marketing and Promotion:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials and campaigns to promote the company's PR services.

- Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and build a network.

6.Reporting and Analytics:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts.

- Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on business development performance and opportunities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's / Master degree in business, marketing, or a related field with minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales in a PR, Advertising, or Marketing field.

- Proven track record of identifying new business opportunities and developing sales strategies that have resulted in strong business growth.

- Experience managing and leading a team of business development professionals.

- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to think outside the box and demonstrate creativity in business development endeavors.

- Experience in PR, Advertising, Marketing, or Related Industries is considered a plus.
