Job Description :
- Manager would handle SAP Applications for International Geography with a team of internal and external SAP experts
- Manager will use strong consulting skills to closely interface with International Business and suggest appropriate Applications in SAP Domain
- The Manager should have a full understanding of SAP Suite capabilities in FI/CO/Cross module integration.
- The Manager will need to build a right balance between the Business requirement and IT Capabilities to deliver value added IT solutions
Key Deliverables of the Role :
- Manage the Annual SAP projects and SAP Support processes across 4+ international geographies. This will include acting as liaison with Business teams for troubleshooting : investigates, analyses, and solves process problems and map business requirements and develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs
- Manage SAP FI/CO configuration by self and overlook other module configuration through a team of internal and external SAP experts in SD/MM/PP.
- Responsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional expertise for post-implementation queries
- Manage Master Data team through a team of internal and external Master data experts. This will include but not restricted to Master data management SLA and managing Master Data module projects.
- Manage Cost / Benefit analysis of Project portfolio and ensure cost projection / cost control over Project initiatives. This will include preparing monthly / periodic reports on Cost to be shared with relevant geographies
Prepare business specifications (Business Blueprints, Functional and Technical Specifications) :
- Formulate and define application scope and objectives and devise procedures to solve business problems
- Provide business analysis specifically in the redesign and implementation of SAP functions and processes
- Customize SAP functionality to satisfy business requirements
- Design, configuration and testing of core FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR)
- Design, configuration and testing of CO-PA / ML
- Design, configuration and testing of Asset Management
- Design, configuration and testing of Consolidations
- Experience with report writer and report painter
- Experience with product costing and material ledger
- Experience and knowledge of key integration points with FI/CO modules
- Conduct training Provide guidance, presentation and instruction on SAP products to clients.
- Should have understanding of Taxation
- Should be strong in CIN
- Understand ASAP Methodology and Pre and Post Go live stages in SAP Projects
The FI/CO Consultant should have experience of direct interaction with end users with following capabilities :
- Communicate SAP capabilities/possibilities within their respective modules
- Induct / Train End users on specific functionalities in FI/CO
- Establish priorities in consultation with Functional Counterparts
- Ability to steer projects through communication, follow-up and interventions.
- Maintain constant engagement levels with Customer to ensure project success
- The resource should be comfortable to travel any part of the world
The Manager should have experience of interaction with other IT Functions to facilitate :
- Successful End-End IT Projects through sharing of Domain Knowledge
- Knowledge / Directions for interfacing Web Applications with SAP
- Support impact analysis of FI/CO integration for other projects within IT
Educational Qualification & Experience :
- MBA in Finance or Chartered accountant preferred
- Preferably FI/CO certified with cross module integration expertise
- Sound Business process knowledge and process design skills
- Minimum 4-5 years of SAP domain handling experience with hands-on configuration and implementation experience
- Minimum 2-3 years in current role
- Experience in two full life cycle implementations and support including in-depth understanding of Process, Data and IT Landscape interplay.
- Experience and exposure in all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, training, deployment of solutions, and postproduction support/maintenance functions.
- Experience in Financial Year change-over / Month / Quarterly closing / similar transitions
- Implementation Experience in COPA / ML will be highly preferred
