Roles &amp; Responsibilities: - Approach potential clients/brands through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, or other means. - Develop and deliver a sales pitch to potential clients/brands. - Develop and pitch custom sponsorship/association solutions across categories basis brand briefs for specific propositions etc. partnering closely with the operations team, clients and agencies to drive pitches &amp; closure. - Understand the salient values of brand content/properties and identify brands to target for the association. - Interpret brief from brands to understand the brand positioning, key Marketing Challenge, Brand/Initiative Objective and resources available to pitch the right solution. - Contribute to the analytical and creative thought process in new business development pitches and ongoing projects. - Maintaining relationships with the relevant representatives of companies. - Ability to deal and negotiate with key decision makers in medium to large companies - Stay on top of trends in a rapidly changing media market and be well informed about the latest happenings across various categories. - Approach new brands/categories which would contribute to the overall revenue growth of the organization. - Ability to work independently and achieve stretch targets. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in brand sales and sponsorships with strong knowledge of the digital ecosystem is a must. - Skill set must include expertise in digital solution selling, pricing, brand building initiatives, promotion, and campaign management. - Proficient in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint. Should be able to develop aesthetically appealing and data-driven presentations. - Ability to leverage relationships, build a strong network and have effective negotiations. - Have a sound understanding of current online advertising trends and various advertising metrics. - Have the ability and willingness to work on potential prospects, cold call, negotiate and close deals.
