Job Title- Manager-Brand Marketing, reporting to GM – Marketing Based in Mumbai

Overall purpose of job

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Manager -Marketing will be overall responsible for all marketing activities related to the Edible oil brands. She / he will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategy to achieve the set goals for the business in terms of market share and profitability. Key levers of marketing strategy would include market research, consumer insights, Media planning and buying, advertising and brand promotion activities and customer loyalty programs.

To achieve the business objectives (market shares/volumes) on his/her portfolio by developing and implementing Marketing grid for his/her portfolio

- Develop and ensure the successful execution of the marketing strategies for the given portfolio in line with the overall business strategy to achieve the set revenue, profit & market share objectives.

- Analyze market wise category trend and competitive activity

- Coordinate with cross functional team (packaging, supply chain, Sales) to finalize and ensure timely implementation of the plan

- Ensure effective use of available resources like A&P Budget

- Ensure effective & innovative use of various media vehicles in the region

- Work with external marketing agencies to get consumer insights and implement the recommendations.

More specifically we are looking for the following profile:

- 6-7 years of strong & relevant marketing experience in reputed multinational or Indian corporations. Should have been directly responsible for developing and executing marketing strategy in the organization.

- Track record of achievement in the area of brand and category management through growing brands at a national level. Should have had overall responsibility for advertising & brand promotion at a national level with a A&P budget of at least Rs. 5-7 crores annually.

- Strong knowledge & experience in the Indian FMCG market. Experience in the food business would be a definite advantage.

- Candidates with strong business acumen and 2-3 years of sales experience would be an added advantage
