Responsibilities: - Determine technology stack by analyzing business requirements - Design system architecture - Develop database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up and recovery specifications - Do strategic planning of product roll out - Maintain and improve existing systems Qualifications: - Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent quantitative field and 3+ years of experience in a similar Big Data Manager role. - Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead highly effective teams. - Extensive experience in: - Big Data Systems like Spark, Hadoop,Kafka, ELK stack - Service-oriented architecture - Scalable architecture design - Agile and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) Software Delivery Life Cycle - Business process modeling and application delivery process - API Creation and Management (REST, SOAP, etc.) - Data pipeline/workflow management tools such as Azkaban and Airflow
