Leading Bank hiring for Manager Operations - Supply Chain profile.

Candidate should have experience in corporate Banking Operations, Supply chain finance

Candidates from Banking or NBFC's are preferred.

Manager Operations -Bills Discounting

Job Summary:

1. You will be aligned with our Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, while conducting Account creation/analysis and reconciling transactions.

2. Will handle multiple clients and organization, from multiple industries, such has Logistic firms, Fin tech companies.

3. Will be responsible for Account creation, verifying, scrutinising the Bills/Invoices, account creation, limit set up, discounting of bills, and funds transfer based on the strict adherence to sanctioned terms and condition, compliance and policies.

4. End to end discounting of bills within the stipulated TAT

5. Timely Liquidation and retiring of bills based on availability of funds. This will call for close co-ordination with the other stake holders in the company.

6. Responsible for coordination on timely posting of client payments

7. Continuous portfolio monitoring and reconciliations. Publish key MIS to stakeholders on payments/delays at client/account level

8. Ensure that all transaction processing is in compliance with regulatory and Bank's policies, procedures and standards with prompt intervention to resolve problems/ concern areas

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems. May have to create new solutions, leveraging and where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures. You are expected to take up process improvements and implement new process setups.

You will also have to regularly coordinate with clients

The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May have to interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within. Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments. Decisions made by you will often impact the unit/organisation.Individual would manage small team.
