Job Description:

- Main Scope of Duties and Responsibilities

- Letters Of Credit (L/C) Advising Business

- Checking Inward L/Cs with respect to workability, sanctions, UCP, ISBP, etc

- Advising L/Cs to beneficiaries/Banks as per originating banks- instruction

- Collection of bank charges, follow up with bank customers for submission of shipping documents, filing, etc

- Import Transactions/ Bank Guarantees

- Issuance of Import L/Cs with adherence to Internal/ Regulatory/ UCP guidelines

- Issuance of Bank Guarantees with adherence to Internal/ Regulatory/ URDG guidelines

- Checking of Import documents drawn under the L/C

- Issuance of Delivery Orders/ Shipping Guarantees

- Effecting payment of bills drawn under the L/C

- Communicate Acceptance/ Rejection of documents drawn under the L/C

- Export Transactions (including Domestic Bills)

- Booking/ Payment of Export Bills under Collection/ Letters of Credit

- Bill/ Invoice Discounting, including LCBD transactions

- Follow up with banks/ customers for bills under Collection/ Letters of Credit

Remittance Transactions

- Efficient handling of FCY Inward and Outward Remittances

- Returns/ Reporting Of Foreign Exchange Transactions

- Preparation of various Returns/ Reporting to H.O./ RBI/ other regulatory authorities pertaining to Trade transactions

Qualification and Experience Requirements:-

- Holder of University Degree, preferably in the field of Finance/Financial Management specialization in Post Graduation

- 1-8 years of professional experience in banking industry

- Has worked in Trade Finance for at least 1 or more years and have good working knowledge of all aspects of Trade finance

- Well versed with UCP, URC, ISBP, RBI Master Circulars on Export/ Import/ Remittances, FEMA guidelines

- Good team player and Analytical mind

- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

- Conversant with the FCC and SWIFT systems will be an added advantage
