We are seeking a seasoned professional currently working in the banking domain to join our Business Development team in Investment Banking / Merchant Banking. The ideal candidate will possess exemplary deal origination and evaluation skills coupled with a deep understanding of the capital market.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal Origination Skills:

- Identify companies seeking funds for generating proprietary deal flow in the Merchant Banking sector.

- Utilize strong networking skills to source deals within the Merchant Banking domain.

- Engage in deal origination and client interactions, understanding their requirements specifically for the West region comprising Ahmedabad and Pune

Deal Evaluation Skills:

- Demonstrate understanding of economic principles and cycles.

- Possess knowledge of the competitive landscape across various industries.

- Conduct thorough financial analysis and identify potential issues.

- Predict future upsides and downsides in businesses.

- Deep understanding of the capital market.

Proactive Approach and Organizational Skills:

- Proactively address organizational issues and effectively communicate with all levels of management.

- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a time-bound approach.

- Participate actively in discussions and contribute to the preparation of resolution plans.

Documentation and Disbursement Handling:

- Obtain sanction and manage post-sanction formalities with banks and clients for documentation.

- Facilitate disbursements in accordance with the sanctioned terms.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in the capital market.

- CA or MBA in Finance.

- Strong deal origination and evaluation skills.

- Excellent networking abilities.

- Sound understanding of economic principles and the competitive environment.

- Proficiency in financial analysis.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
