Manager - Audit - Retail/FMCG/HoReCa

Responsibilities :

Internal Audit :

- Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations- effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations

- Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans

- Obtaining, analysing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc.

- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit's results and document process

- Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement

- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings opportunities

- Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

Compliance / Tax Audit / Tax Return Submission :

- Co-ordinate the annual Statutory / Compliance Audit of the entity including monitoring the preparation of the Annual Financials in accordance with the Accounting Standards / Company Law / Other Laws as may be applicable from time to time

- Maintain special focus on IND-AS Compliance

- Liaison with the Auditors for timely closure of the audits by timely submission of data required by them

- Thereafter, ensure quick closure of the Tax Audit / Tax Return activities

Skills & Requirements :

Experience Required :

- 0-5 year Experience in a Similar Role in a Big 4 / Large Audit Firms

- Skills sets Required- Analytical Mind set, Business Oriented, Data mining and analytics, Thinking out of the Box Approach

- Experience of working on - SAP, MS Office Expert - Excel / Word PPT / Visio (would be advantageous)

- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations

- Good with Internal Controls

- Strong interpersonal skills in - Is a Team Player should be able to interact with Various Functions within Finance as well as Operations in ensuring timely closure of audits

Educational Qualification : Qualified CA, Additional Certifications in IA / IT Audits a big advantage

Exposure : Retail / FMCG / HoReCa industry would be an advantage
