Manager Audit EBP Responsibilities: - Strong technical expertise for accounting and auditing topics and standards along with Employee Benefit Plan industry specialization. - Experience in end-to-end audits of Employee Benefit Plans. - Working knowledge in variety of Employee Benefit Plans including but not limited to Defined contribution plans, Defined Benefit plans, Employee Stock Option Plans and Health & Welfare plans. - Understanding of risks relevant to Employee Benefit Plans and their audit procedures. - Oversee the efforts of multiple client engagements in a wide variety of industries with the ability to manage and deliver quality results. - Maintain active communication with clients/US teams to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively. - Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business improvements and process improvements and serve as a business advisor to the client. - Team with partners and senior managers on integration proposals and business development calls. - Manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast- paced, interactive, results-based team environment by leading and collaborating with diverse teams. - Perform and conduct detail review of Senior Associate's work (Detailed or Quality depending on the complexity of task and experience of Senior Associate). - Provide on the job training and coaching to audit team members. Facilitate and lead trainings. - Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews. - Conduct one to one meeting with Senior Associates at regular intervals to discuss technical, soft skills and career development goals. - Manage escalation emails and calls. - Ensure that audit documentation follows quality standards of the Firm and share knowledge with the team on new guidance or standard releases and implementation. - Actively participate in recruiting talent to the firm. - Attend professional development, networking events and training seminars on a regular basis. - Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality. Skills: 1. US CPA (licensed) or Indian CA 2. Proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards. 3. Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools. 4. Excellent written and oral communications 5. Strong interpersonal skills 6. Strong people and project management skills 7. Problem Solving Skills: Identify and resolve problems/issues. Manage work escalations proactively as and when they occur. 8. Agile: Ability to adapt and accept challenging situations and tasks and perform with the utmost professionalism. Professional Experience / Qualifications: - CA/CPA qualified - Minimum 7-9 years of progressive audit experience in a medium to large public accounting firm or equivalent - Big 4 experience a plus
