Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
- Be responsible for the entire Learning portfolio, by leading a team virtually across locations in India & Philippines.
- Develop & demonstrate a basic understanding of Global Audit Methodology ( GAM ) in service delivery and various GAAPs in different countries.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with key Global Learning counterparts like executives based out of Americas, Europe or Middle East.
- Develop an understanding of Quality and Risk Management procedures, and ensure these are adhered to in the Learning process.
- Ensure the learning materials are all prepared, reviewed and approved in a timely manner by the requisite stakeholders.
- Proactively discuss and develop work flow or process plans for Learning,
- Develop key reporting processes, and adhere to the agreed turnaround time for the same.
- Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing with Global audit teams.
- Establish expectations of value to be delivered to the respective Global teams aligned.
- Standardize Learning processes along with leveraging best practices across the global learning teams
- Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
- Delegate work successfully.
- Develop and maintain high performing teams.
- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example.
- Use technology& tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Contribute to technical and soft-skills training to continually develop the team's skills.
- Actively participate in organizational initiatives like recruitment, diversity & inclusiveness, trainings, others.
Competencies / Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Indian accounting and auditing standards or knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP and International auditing standards is an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation skills
- Project management, leadership, coaching, counselling and supervisory skills
- Ability to spread positive work culture, teaming and live values
- The ability to quickly form strong working relationship with colleagues in India and global teams.
- Data handling skills including Microsoft excel
Job Specification
Education :
- Qualified Indian Chartered Accountant or
- CPA or ACCA
Experience :
- 6-7 years of minimum experience within other Big four or Industry
- Relevant experience of Learning portfolio preferred
Location : Bangalore or Gurugram
