Role Purpose :

- Plan and rollout network.4G/3G Cell sites planning for coverage and capacity for voice and data services. Plan Traffic Forecasting and Dimensioning of Network.

- Dimensioning of LAC, BSC, RNC, PCU& Data TS for EDGE performance improvement Annual Capex budgeting of Radio Network. Hands on knowledge of Planning tool & Map-info is a must.Should have good knowledge on architecture of voice calls.

Key Accountabilities :

- Network Rollout : Finalisation of annual network rollout plan considering delta subscriber addition, MOUs and customer complaint areas.Prioritization of deployment of cell sites and driving other departments for the cause.

- Network Dimensioning : Network dimensioning and locating critical nodes (BSCs and MSCs,RNC- s) considering traffic growth and present network growth constraints. Dimensioning of LAC,BSC,RNC, PCU & Data Ts for EDGE performance improvement.

- Network Quality : Improvement in network quality by reducing spectrum loading and achieving better frequency reuse to better call quality during network busy hour.

- Traffic Engineering & Network Growth : Traffic engineering i.eanalyze& forecast network growth and network expansions to get congestion free network for voice & Data services

- Administration, Team Development andTeam mentoring capabilities

- Regulatory obligation deliverables such as rollout obligation, SACFA, EMF e.t.c

Typical Outputs :

- Site & basic parameter planning; Regulatory deliverables like Rollout Obligation, SACFA, WPC. BSC-BCSU Dimensioning; Traffic & Revenue Analysis for LuT;

- In depth understanding of network operations Logical & Analytical analyzing skills Meticulous approach for network growth & Capex rollout
