Manager/Assistant Manager - CAT Modelling

An exciting opportunity to join a new and dynamic team of risk professionals who are focused on delivering benchmark Risk Management aligned with management, regulatory (including Solvency II) and Group requirements.

Working closely with key stakeholders within the group you will be responsible for ensuring that qualitative risk and control assessment processes are effectively implemented and that progress and results are regularly and efficiently reported.

The primary objectives of this role are to ; support Underwriting to improve the risk management capability of the company; ensure is compliant and form sustainable, productive relationships with senior management in order to embed a risk aware culture into the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Risk Management (RMS) :

- Supporting/Managing the identification, assessment, validation and reporting of NAT CAT losses

- Acquiring in-depth knowledge of assigned process risks and sharing acquired expertise with the process owners and Underwriters

- Support in training new Account technicians

- Risk assessments methodologies

- Proven experience in one of the following functions

- Insurance

- Risk Analysis

- CAT Modelling

Qualifications :

- Degree / CII and recognized post-graduate professional qualification in either Risk Management (e.g. IRM Diploma) or Accounting qualification (desired)
