Manager - Analytics - Supply Chain

- We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Analytics, Reporting, and Master Data Management Manager to join the Supply Chain Center of Excellence (CoE) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Program Managers in support of analysis, reporting, and master data management activities for our supply chain function. The position will work collaboratively with procurement category and cross-functional teams to drive data analysis, insights, and solutions that drive cost savings and improve operational efficiency. This role will also serve as the bridge with the US-based team at Delta Air Lines Global Headquarters.

PRIMARY FUNCTION :

- Lead a team of 4-5 Program Managers to support Delta Air Lines Supply Chain Procurement analytics function

- Manage day to day activities of the team, help in setting priorities and meet deadlines.

- The team leader needs to have hands on expertise in the field of analytics to support the team in problem solving in complex and challenging situations.

- Develop the team members in growing their skillset, conduct annual reviews and support the team in furthering their careers.

- Coordinate with the US based analytics team in setting priorities and project/task assignments

- Understand SCM CoE organization's strategic goals and objectives

- Communicate issues and concerns to US-based senior management

- Drive team activities to achieve SCM CoE goals in full alignment with US-based team

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or other related field

- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics preferably in Supply Chain, Finance, Planning, or other related fields.

- App development: Proficiency in application development (Power Apps or similar)

- Database: Strong relational database skills (SQL Server or similar)

- Data Transformation: Strong data transformation skills (SAS, or similar)

- Visualization: Strong ability to design and build BI visualization dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

- Demonstrated ability in managing team members and leading cross-divisional projects

- Knowledge of procurement functions including sourcing, contracting, and vendor management

- Experience in data analysis, modeling, statistical research, forecasting, data mining, database analysis, or strategic planning.

- Ability to build relationships, think strategically, build consensus, and lead meetings.

- Strong executive communication skills - written and verbal

- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):

- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or MBA.

- Knowledge of Python in data analytics context.
