Position: Manager - Analytics
Location: Mumbai
Job Description :
- Responsible for analysing business and related data compiled from the current in-house channels available i.e. Subscriber management systems, field reports etc.
- Will analyse the data to provide management with trends and analyses to support business objectives ranging from growing revenues in disparate markets to reducing/controlling customer churn rates.
- Will work closely with the Finance, Sales and other functions to ensure appropriate and validated data is collated, compiled and analysed for management.
- Analysing competition data and providing relevant MIS to management.
- Developing data mining models for the business to provide actionable and tangible reports for various components of the business including sales, operations, inventory, customer support etc.
- Developing new channels of collating data
Relevant Experience :
- Could have relevant experience at a similar level at a large-size pay TV platform - either MSO or DTH platform. Could also be from the enterprise class connectivity industry (telcos or broadband) with similar experience.
- Alternatively, could be a similar level resource in one of the top five broadcaster groups in the country or from a leading consumer insights and analytics company.
- Should have an extremely strong analytical approach and bent of mind in terms of dealing with numbers and their analysis. Accordingly, should have a demonstrated capability in being able to develop MIS frameworks for facilitating action.
- Should have a clear understanding of the media & entertainment industry and its integration with other related products and solutions (e.g. mobility, wireless, broadband).
