Manager - Analytics - Consulting Firm

Responsibilities :

- Manage Data Analytics Practice For XYZ Product & Platform Team

- Identify, develop and deliver key analytics projects that will make significant impact to the company, platform & product manager team

- Work closely with business leaders, product managers, subject matter experts to design and define performance metrics and goals

- Responsible for modelling complex problems and processes using various analytical tools and methods

- Work with different lines of business to problem solve, measure and track suitable metrics for efficiency and effectiveness

Able to work independently and take complete ownership from problem identification, requirement gathering to delivery and socialization of analysis

- Co-creating components of analytics products/ platform that provide actionable business insight

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in setting up & building analytics practice for organization. Experience in start-ups preferred

- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of all key aspects of product development - product, marketing, operations and finance

- Excellent analytical abilities: Data driven and understanding of key analytical techniques

- Strong background of working on analytical tools like R, SAS, SQL and Excel

- People management skills: Ability to build, lead and mentor large teams of analysts

- Prior experience in working with senior business leaders and acting as their thought partner

- Strong Analytical bent of mind, leadership & problem-solving skills (hands on experience of analytics technical SQL, R, Python)

- Developing predictive models with large and varied data sets, working with a community of colleagues across verticals.
