Manager - Analytics - Conglomerate

A large Indian conglomerate is looking for an Analytics professional. (Manager/DGM level)

The role is based out of Mumbai.

Job Description: An Analytics Lead will be responsible for managing and leading a team of analysts while working closely with stakeholders across various departments. His primary focus will be to extract actionable insights from data, drive analytical strategies, and contribute to the overall business growth and decision-making process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Strategy Development: Develop and execute data analytics strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

- Data Analysis: Conduct complex data analysis, interpret trends, and provide insights to support key business initiatives.

- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud services and resources.

- Security and Compliance: Implement security measures, monitor for threats, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities, manage cloud spending, and recommend cost-effective solutions.

- Reporting and Visualization: Create and present comprehensive reports and data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define metrics, and implement analytical solutions to address business challenges.

- Technology Implementation: Evaluate, recommend, and implement advanced analytics tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of analytics processes.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across various databases and systems.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in analytics, implementing improvements and innovations where applicable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements:

- Education: "Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics).

- Proven experience in data analysis, with a track record of leading analytical projects or teams.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).

- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner.

- Experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis is a plus."

- Experience: A minimum 7-8 years of experience in data architecture or related roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data-related challenges.

- Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices in data management.

- Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies for overseeing data architecture projects.
