- Develop the analytics framework for advanced analytics related to various aspects of business within company such as insurance fraud, consumer insight, underwriting analytics etc.

- The analyst will be responsible for understanding the analysis needs for various aspects of the business and perform insightful analyses to enable senior managers take evidence driven decisions.

- The analyst will also be responsible for various regulatory and compliance reporting in the Actuarial and Finance areas through automated processes.

Job Responsibilities

- Liaison with different functions to understand the analysis needs

- Identify data gaps and develop mechanism to collect the missing data fields

- Develop statistical models and reporting tools for analytics

- Communicate the analysis results to senior management

- Perform regular analysis to help the management make evidence based decisions

- Develop automated tools to create reports for internal and external submissions

THE PERSON

Qualifications & Experience

- Post-graduate or equivalent in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics or M. Tech from a renowned institution

- Prior experience of 2-7 years of working in an analytics role preferably in insurance domain

Competencies

- Strong theoretical understanding of the advanced statistical techniques together with an acumen to interpret the results for practical use and implementation

- Identify the most appropriate tools and models for the analyses and work proficiently on them

- Manage projects effectively through the innovation process to actual launch with a cross-boundary mindset at all stages to ensure seamless integration

- Excellent project management skills with good planning and organizational abilities, including excellent time management skills.

- Work with all functions and with a cross-boundary mindset to ensure smooth delivery of projects

- Understands key internal and external linkages within and to an organization

- Strong inter-personal skills with a challenging and persuasive manner, to win and maintain the respect of colleagues across the business at all levels.

Skills Required

- Proficiency in working with statistical analysis tools and knowledge of the currently available tools in practice

- Strong analytical and product management skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

- Ability to engage in multiple initiative simultaneously
