Manager/AGM/DGM - Commodities Market

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Commodity Trader to join our team and spearhead the development of our new opportunity commodity desk. This role involves close collaboration with the Managing Director and requires a candidate with a comprehensive understanding of the commodities market, particularly in relation to the Indian context.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage trading strategies for a range of bulk commodities, with a focus on procurement, sales, and logistics.

- Identify and capitalize on trading opportunities, both in sourcing from and selling to the Indian market.

- Maintain and expand relationships with suppliers, clients, and partners across our global network.

- Conduct market analysis to inform trading decisions and strategies.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of trades and logistics.

- Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes impacting the commodities market.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 8 years of experience in commodity trading, with a preference for candidates with up to 10 years of experience.

- Proven track record in trading a variety of bulk commodities.

- Strong understanding of the Indian commodities market and global trading dynamics.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, or related fields
