Manager - Advanced/Predictive Analytics - BFSI

Looking for a Manager in Advanced and Predictive Analysis for a leading Research and Analytics firm :

They offer :

- Translate high level business requirements/problems into sound and comprehensive analytical framework through appropriate usage of advanced statistical / mathematical techniques

- Responsible for successful delivery of advanced analytics solutions and services in client consulting environment with focus on optimization (linear/non-linear/constrained), simulation, forecasting, attribution and other predictive analysis using Big Data techniques

- Build predictive models from multiple data sources, develop advanced algorithms that extract and classify information from large datasets

- Solve business problems through usage of appropriate statistical techniques (predictive and descriptive) like multinomial linear and nonlinear regression, time series, hierarchical regression, Bayesian analytics, segmentation, clustering, ANOVA/ ANCOVA, correlation, structural equation modeling, Marcov Chain, MCMC etc.

- Build data architecture and establish linkages between unstructured and structured data sources to create analytical datamarts

- Identify and exploit new patterns in data using various techniques

- Collaboratively define key business problem to be solved, formulate approaches and gather data to solve the problem

- Conduct analysis, draw insights and present findings to the client

Other responsibilities involve :

- Working closely with other work-stream BAs as well as the Architecture team to share knowledge and standardize the process

- Identifying and escalating design issues and risks

You as a candidate offer :

- M. Tech/ Master in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Operations Research or other Quantitative Discipline

- Expertise in statistical software like SAS/R/SPSS etc.

- Extensive experience in advanced stats + data mining + data modeling + algorithms

- Experience in handling, massaging and analyzing large dataset or big data (including unstructured or semi-structured data, non-relational data) with appropriate Hadoop ecosystem, NoSQL, MapReduce, Python, R etc.

- Good expertise in advanced analytics techniques like Machine Learning, Monte Carlo Stimulation, Neural Networks, A/B testing

- Experience in building algorithms and conducting predictive analytics on large data sets

- Proficiency in VBA, SQL and other big data technologies will be highly preferred
