Manager Payables

- Managing end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process

- Ensure that vendor payments and employee reimbursements are released on time as per TATs define.

- Ensuring correct accounting in line with accounting policies

- Ensuring compliance with company policies and tax and other related regulations as applicable in accounting and payment processes

- Responsible for GL management and reconciliation

- Ensuring proper fixed assets management and record-keeping

- Responsible for smooth close of books on monthly basis with timelines defined

- Responsible for appropriate provisions / accruals in books on monthly basis and preparing monthly MIS as required

- Ensure that financials controls are built-in all accounting processes

- Improvise and automate processes on an on-going basis

- Preparing process / policy documentation as needed

- Ensure that document management is efficient and controls built-in

- Liaising with Banks on daily operations and on any project implementation

- Liaising with Auditors on regular basis and providing necessary details on time and resolving their queries.

- Keeping track of payments.

- Managing group Insurance ( renewals/ claims)

Required Candidate Skills

B.Com / M.Com and preferably Inter-CA

- Around 10-14 years of experience in Finance & Accounts department of a large corporate

- In-depth experience in vendor payments / accounting / monthly closing of books

- Working experience in ERP, preferably Oracle

- Process and automation driven

- Good communication skills

- Ability to lead a team
