Job Description - Accounting & taxation manager with a leading automotive firm based out of their corporate offices in Gurgaon. Individual contributor role, reporting into the financial controller of the firm

Client Details :

Our client is a leading multinational automotive firm who are currently on a fast growth trajectory in India. Known globally for their outstanding work culture, growth & learning opportunities, the firm is currently looking at expanding their finance & accounting team in India.

Description

Reporting into the finance controller of the firm, as an individual contributor, you will be responsible for:-

- Take care of the preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual financial reports & books of accounts for the firm which will be as per IndAs

- Establishing and improving existing systems, processes & controls for the firm. This will also include testing of the internal controls

- Taking care of the entire AP, AR & other transactions for the firm

- Advise & take care of tax accounting as well as compliance (both Direct & indirect taxation)

- Partner with other functions and facilitate the smooth functioning of the FP&A as well as the audit functions

Profile

You will be a chartered accountant with at least 5 years of post qualification experience ideally coming in from a multinational firm. You will have strong exposure to the handling the entire books of accounts as per IndAs along with knowledge of taxation (both direct & indirect). In addition to this, you will also have strong exposure to setting up & optimizing internal controls, systems & processes. You will also have good interpersonal skills.
