Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our Accounts Receivable Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

The Financial Controller will play a key role in managing the accounts receivable team, developing, and implementing financial policies and procedures, and analysing financial data to provide strategic insights and recommendations. The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the accounts receivable function, including billing, collections, and credit management, to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Manage and mentor the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure performance goals are met and professional development opportunities are provided.

- Analyse financial data and prepare periodic reports, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making and operational planning.

- Monitor cash flow, aging receivables, and bad debt reserves, taking proactive measures to minimize credit risk and improve cash collection efficiency.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including category, Customer Service, and Finance departments, to address customer inquiries, resolve billing disputes, and optimize revenue recognition processes.

- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities to facilitate the audit process and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

- Continuously evaluate and streamline accounts receivable processes and systems to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualification needed : CA

Exp: 2+ years in AR function
