Accounts Payable - Manager
- The incumbent should have relevant experience in managing Accounts Payable and overseeing General Ledger Functions in a profit center-centric environment, with working knowledge of SAP (preferable), GST, TDS, and other relevant statutory laws.
The incumbent's key Responsibility areas will include :
- Overseeing Monthly book close of the firm (multiple legal entities).
- Review of General Ledger and ensure all costs are appropriately accounted for to ensure accuracy of monthly MIS reports.
- Oversight of Accounts Payable team and function with responsibility to identify process gaps, bring in process efficiency, and develop a robust MIS for the same.
- Develop and execute a documented process to ensure newly acquired subsidiaries are properly integrated into the finance framework.
- Ensure systems and processes are evaluated periodically to avoid any tax leakages and ensure compliance with GST and other relevant statutory requirements.
- Preparation of SOPs for various processes within the domain.
- Groom a high-performing team of 6 to 8 resources and develop succession and career planning within the team.
- Evaluate existing processes & systems and make recommendations for automation where possible.
- Custodian to implement internal controls and responsible to carry out statutory and internal audits in assigned areas.
- Be an active part of the IndAS implementation team.
- Oversight of basic Treasury functions and ensuring banking relationships are strongly held to ensure seamless transaction processing.
- The incumbent should have strong communication skills (Written and verbal) and should be able to handle various internal business stakeholders independently.
- A solution-oriented approach, deep understanding of the accounting concepts under varied GAAP, and working knowledge of MS office are a must.
