ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for full oversight of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable processes within the Company, ensuring targets are achieved in accordance with company policy.
- Ensures adherence to SOX and Internal controls and always maintains updated process documents.
- Oversees the entire A/P & A/R process and propose improvement ideas/suggestion to gain process efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage performance of staffs and coach/mentor them for raising the bars
- Assist staff in researching and handling more complicated transactions and problems.
- Interface with cross functional teams and senior level management in communicating and resolving issues.
- Coordinates with tax department to manage the Escheatment, 1099 and 1042 reporting requirements.
- Responsible for various monthly reporting requirements.
- Partner with accounting team to provide/validate information as required for month closing
- Building and maintaining relationships with employees , internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a single point of contact for resolving any dispute
- Manage information requests during the year or year-end audits and respond to requests for information during internal audit
- Other projects as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLSETS -
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- 12 or more years of A/P / A/R / Accounting experience
- 5 years or more of leadership experience (must have handled team size of 25+ team members)
- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software
- Must have large ERP AP system experience
- Experience working on process improvement initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal and external counterparts
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good presentation skills for educating internal counterparts on process developments
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
