Manager - Accounts - Food processing Firm - CA/CPA

Manager - Accounts & Finance - Manufacturing - Africa - CA/ CPA only

Role:

- Oversee day to day accounting of all locations in the country

- Conduct and review monthly physical count for all locations

- Monthly book closing by 5th of every month and check month end entries

- Intelligent checking of invoices & accounting of raw material / commodity procurement

- Suggest best practices on commodity procurement and implement approved SOP

- Manage Insurance policy and claims of company

- Approve batch production report in Tally (in future SAP)

- Review monthly inventory valuation and if required able to do by himself

- Check transport invoices and approved in accounting system

- Manage petty cash for all locations

- Tracking IOU & Salary advance settlements

- Able to work with diversified team and other Dept Heads

- Help Finance Controller in preparing budget and forecast

- Good experience in AP/AR reconciliation

- Review product costing (batch and product costing)

- Also liaison with bank for fund draw down and material release

- Manage Internal audit and External Audit with support from other team members

Skill set:

- Chartered accountant/ CPA with minimum 8 years of manufacturing or food processing unit experience is a must

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Big 4

- Able to work in aggressive and fast-moving environment

- Able to manage a team of 5-6 people

- Prior experience in managing bank loans will be added advantage

- SAP/ ERP experience will be added advantage

- Able to manage diversified culture team and liaison with Other Dept Head

- Business process and Finance process knowledge is a must
