Manager - Accounting & Finance - Travel eCommerce

An excellent opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing venture with a niche value offering within travel ecommerce space. This role requires putting systems and processes in place to create a robust and streamlined finance function while effectively managing a team of 3-4 finance professionals and reporting to Co-founder and CFO.

The organization is a young startup led by experienced leadership who come from a diverse backgrounds including tech entrepreneurship, investment banking, technology et cetera. In its second year of operations, the venture has experienced a strong and consistent topline growth along with an increased traction in terms of customer acquistion.

Description :

- Manager Accounting & Finance (India Head Finance) will be reporting to CFO based out of Asia along with CEO & Co-founder while managing a team of 3-4 finance professionals.

- Implement systems and processes in place to automate and streamline complex finance operations which are prone to high transaction volumes while ensuring a robust finance function.

- Take care of GL, AP, AR and reconciliations

- Ensure revenue assurance and prevent leakage.

- Conduct risk assessment for new revenue stream gateways and processes.

- Track cashflow and provide cashflow MIS on a monthly basis.

- Analyse monthly burn rate and conduct variance analysis.

Profile :

- The successful candidate should be an MBA/CA/ICWA/Graduate with at least 10-15 years of experience in handling finance operations in a set-up which involves complex operations and high transaction volume.

- Team management experience is MUST.

- Preferable industry backgrounds include telecom, ecommerce, insurance and travel.

- Knowledge of IGAAP is a must.

- Should be open to working in a 6 days a week setup.
