- Management consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation.

- Sales professionals design/develop strategies to improve the effectiveness of sales organizations through process reengineering, sales talent management, incentive management, and operations optimization.

- The candidate selected for this role will provide deep domain skills to help clients with strategy and business planning to improve: sales strategy and sales operations, channel strategy and design, channel partner management, sales force effectiveness, sales processes, sales compensation & reward and sales operations optimization.

Responsibilities may include :

Project Delivery : Work with small to medium-size teams to deliver projects for global clients.

Responsibilities may include :

- Market entry strategy development

- Product launch strategy

- Channel mix assessment and strategy

- Sales Channel optimization

- Pricing Optimization

- Incentive Compensation Management

- Channel Incentive Management

- Sales Performance Analytics

- Functional Support for Technology Implementation Engagements (Salesforce.com, SAP CRM)

Business Development : Support efforts of global sales team to identify and win potential opportunities within the practice

Industry Expertise : Provide industry expertise in Financial Services (banking / insurance)

Domain Development : Develop assets and methodologies, develop of points-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, conduct public speaking and publish in industry periodicals

Experience :

Specific experience will include :

- A minimum of 1-4 years of progressive industry and/or consulting experience in the Financial Services sector post MBA

- Detailed understanding of a select vertical within the banking industry, along with products, channels, and key drivers.

Candidate may have exposure to one/more of the following areas:

- Credit cards,

- Liabilities products,

- Wealth management,

- Branch banking sales and operations,

- Customer portfolio management/cross-sell,

- Insurance sales and marketing

- Online Sales Channels

- Experience creating and implementing sales and marketing strategies towards driving volumes and attaining higher profitability.

- Consulting or functional experience in Strategy and Business Planning for Financial Services practice, with focus on :

- Product and market entry strategy,

- Sales strategy and operations,

- Marketing strategy,

- Sales compensation strategy and process (for both employees and channel),

- Sales model design,

- Sales force effectiveness,

- Channel strategy and effectiveness,

- Partner relationship management

- Experience creating / revamping sales models in response to market requirements.

- Defining and Managing sales forecasts, experience tracking and communicating progress against the annual operating plan

- Experience managing Sales in a multi-channel / multi product / multi location set up.

- Experience working on a large-scale Business / Operational Transformation project desirable

- Experience managing an online sales channel for financial services products

- Strong analytical and logical skills.

- Strong program management skills

- Advanced user of excel, including macros.

- Experience with financial, market or organizational analytics, with additional experience focused on Sales Analytics.

- Experience working with - C- level executive clients

- Experience in or interaction with other geographies is desirable

- Possesses excellent communication (written and oral) skills and excellent presentation skills

- Comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the - C- level executives in a range of environments

- Comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm

- Strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts
