Management Consultant - Automotive Sector - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual Role

Job Description:

Our client, a global consulting firm, is assisting a public sector client in the transportation and mobility field with strategy interventions, including policy. They are looking to onboard a consultant with prior experience working in the automotive industry to support them on this project.

Below summarises the responsibilities of the consultant -

- Conduct independent research and analysis on transportation policies, trends, and technologies, with a specific focus on the automotive sector, electric vehicles (EVs), shared mobility, alternate fuels, and the transition to future mobility

- Stay up-to-date and well-informed about the latest developments and best practices in the transportation and technology sectors, both in India and globally

- Develop strategies and create content for policy briefs, stakeholder management, and support the implementation of policies

- Take ownership of all assigned tasks by employing a project management framework to ensure their effective delivery

- Present findings and recommendations to clients

- Implement recommendations or solutions and provide necessary assistance to the client

- Manage the overall module while collaborating with the rest of the team

An ideal candidate would have :

- 2 to 8 years of experience in the automotive industry

- A post-graduation degree from a top tier university is preferred

- Effective communication and senior stakeholder management skillset

This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 9 to12-month contract. The consultant will be required to be based out of Delhi for the duration of this project.
