Management Accounting Role - European Market - CA/ICWA

Job Title: Management Accounting, European Market

Location: India-Tamil Nadu

Overview:

- This position plays a pivotal role in Management Accounts, focusing on the European market.

- The individual in this role will aid the Manager in supervising and carrying out various tasks.

- These responsibilities include managing schedules, addressing operational challenges, and potentially leading specific projects.

- Tasks may extend to budget oversight and serving as a proxy for the Manager in meetings with clients and suppliers.

- Assistant Managers must stay updated on industry trends and effective management methodologies.

- Proficiency in organization, leadership, and communication is imperative, coupled with technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

- Monthly management accounting/involvement in month end processes for the entities within EU region (Uk/Germany/Italy)

- Preparation of monthly VAT returns, annual financial statements & Corporate Income tax return for German company

- Monthly Intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations;

- Revenue category classification and recognition;

- Accruals, prepayments and deferred revenue processes;

- Project accounting / financial analysis;

- Business reviews with senior business stakeholders;

- Ad hoc projects.

Qualifications:

We're looking for candidates who -

- CA/ ICWA with management accounting exposure for European entities (UK/Germany/France);

- Strong Excel and financial systems experience, with the ability to manipulate and interpret key financial data;

- Fluency in written and spoken English;

- Knowledge of NetSuite ERP cloud accounting software will be an asset;

- A proactive and autonomous working practice;

- Good analytical and communication skills;

- Timeliness and accuracy;
