Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for the management accounting function including: financial and management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, liquidity planning, taxation (with special emphasis on GST), and supporting the business areas with financial information as required; and, implementing internal controls, overseeing the functioning of external accountants and their compliance with candi's internal standard and liaising with auditors. - Understanding of corporate structuring and tax implications, with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations required. - CA with experience in fast scaling companies preferred. - Strong technical and financial and management accounting skills, good communication and reporting skills, good project management, and the ability to communicate and interact with a team of people through reporting cycles and change processes. - Ability to work in an international context and be able to interact with Global offices. - Must display a track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Being a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit is paramount. Desired Skills: - A 'people person'. - Understanding the time value of money calculations. - Understands and is able to promote a culture of segregation of duties and internal controls. - Ability to work multiple work streams and possessing good communication and teamwork skills. - Advanced financial modeling on excel. - Ability to understand contracts and contractual structures will be an advantage. - Must be very comfortable working in the digital realm. - Ability and responsible to work remotely with minimal direct supervision. - Deadline is driven. - Excellent written and spoken English required. - Limited travel is required. - Renewable energy experience will be an advantage.
