Category Head Honasa Consumer Private Limited Overview : - The candidate will be responsible for end-2-end P&L ownership, marketing and new product launches for a new business at Honasa (parent company of Mamaearth). - Role includes developing the product proposition, preparing annual business plan (portfolio and revenue strategy) and executing the same across different revenue channels - d2c, marketplaces and others. - The role is also responsible for owning the brand experience across all touchpoints, by development and execution of awareness and conversion campaigns for the product portfolio and would be expected to meet the topline and bottom-line targets for the business while building long term competitive strength. Responsibilities & Duties : - P&L ownership, cost management & financial operations - Category and competition understanding with knowledge of category landscape & market size - Driving marketing strategy and category development roadmap - Consumer understanding and plan & execute research required for category understanding and development - Product portfolio management and development of new ranges - ATL/BTL, marketing initiative across channels - Developing & driving channel strategy (Digital, E-commerce, Others) - Responsible for brand equity and creating thematic brand campaigns - Build and establish communication architecture, visual language and tonality Minimum Qualifications/ Must Haves : - MBA from a known B-school - 5-7+ years' work experience in a category/brand marketing role - Experience of managing direct reports and working with a multi-functional team - Marketing exposure with an FMCG company preferred - Prior P&L handling experience - Expertise in driving marketing strategies across revenue channels (Digital + Offline) - Willing to upskill, unlearn and learn - Great people skills and communication capabilities - Agile enough to implement newly acquired knowledge for role benefit
