The role :
- A great opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to join our People team and make a significant contribution to a fast growing IT consultancy and Salesforce.com implementation partner.
Responsibilities :
- Identify appropriate channels and build relationships with sources of suitable candidates including but not limited recruitment agents, job websites/publications (& other such media), universities, social media, direct referrals (internal and external) & other recruitment professionals.
- Own the employee referral scheme, liaising with the People Team regarding any impacts this has on existing Make Positive employees.
- Keep abreast of current market rates relevant to specific skill sets and advise the +People Community, Practice Lead and Line Managers as appropriate.
- Keep abreast of any changes in employment legislation that impacts recruitment and selection and advise the +People Community, Practice Lead and Line Managers as appropriate.
- Keep abreast of current and new selection best practice and techniques and advise +People Community, Practice Lead and Line Managers as appropriate.
- Research relevant technologies to develop a better understanding of role requirements and be able to better identify suitable candidates.
- Support the People Member in managing talent by owning recruitment activity and campaigns to this end.
- Manage the HR Plan for Recruitment in India which supports company goals and ensure that the +People Community, Practice Lead and appropriate Line Managers are kept up to date with progress on a timely basis
- Manage the logistics and scheduling of resources for Interviews and Assessment days
- Identify any recruitment and selection issues or risks and communicate these to the Practice Lead and relevant parties at the earliest opportunity with suggested solutions or mitigating actions.
- Communicate and collaborate with the other member of the +People Community wherever possible to ensure that the +People community works as a unified team.
- Build strong working relations with the Practice Lead and Line Managers to ensure a solid understanding of their strategic and tactical recruitment requirements.
- Build good relations with strong candidates who may be potential suitors for future roles.
- Be the front line of Make Positive for candidates in India including but not limited to undertaking the first stage of the selection process; providing feedback to candidates on their selection process performance; answering role or organisation related queries; promoting the benefits of working for Make Positive.
- Produce and place high quality Job Specifications appropriate to the organisational role profile and any other specific requirements.
- Manage the review, categorisation and storage of candidate CVs and be mindful of any Data Protection legislation.
- Negotiate and agree recruitment fees within budget.
- Liaise with and support the People Member, Practice Lead and Line Managers during the onboarding and Induction process to ensure that knowledge and data is transferred and they have a smooth entry into the organisation.
- At all times work in a manner that champions our +People values and identify opportunities to add value to Recruitment and Selection process whenever possible.
Skills required :
The ideal candidate will be friendly and resourceful, and will have the following proven skills :
Essential :
- Experience of working as an IT Recruiter for a minimum of 3 years within a Technology Services Business
- Proven experience of undertaking in-house Recruitment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with others (both internal and external to the business).
- Attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to document, organise and manage your workload effectively.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and experience of dealing with sometimes challenging individuals.
- A demonstrated ability to work with standard business software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc) and also comfortable with the administration business systems.
Preferable :
- Experience of recruiting within the salesforce market
- Experience of working remotely e.g. with colleagues in other countries
